How to use Payment Settings
Open Settings → Payment Settings. Tax & Fee Rules manages tax and fee lines that apply to items, products, gift vouchers, and memberships. Payment Methods manages checkout money collection for that location. Changes on Payment Methods are not live until you click Save changes.

How Payment Settings is organized

- Tax & Fee Rules is a separate tab from Payment Methods; taxes and fees are not configured inside Payment Methods.
- Select the correct location first. Each venue can have different checkout, POS device settings.
- Save changes writes the Payment Methods configuration for the current location.
Tips
- Save Payment Methods after every change; leaving the tab without saving discards unsaved checkout, credit toggles.
