How to import data

Data Import tab
Data Import is a wizard for bringing historical or bulk records into the current location. Imported bookings do not send customer emails or in-app notifications, which is what you want for a cutover.
- Supported types: Items, Customers, Bookings, Memberships, Products, Assets, Gift Voucher Types, Gift Vouchers, and Waivers.
- Wizard steps: Type, Upload, Map Columns, Defaults, Preview, Validate, Import, Summary.
- Download a CSV template for the type you chose so required columns match what the importer expects.
- Map your file headers to platform fields. Unmapped required fields must be filled with defaults or the row will fail validation.
- Preview a sample, validate the full file, then import. The summary shows created, skipped, and error rows.
- Import items and customers before bookings so reservations can attach to real catalog and guest records.
Tips
- Save the tab you are on before switching tabs so formatting or identity edits are not left unsaved.
- Set Primary Timezone and each location timezone before you publish availability.
- Write reschedule and cancel policies in plain language, then enable the confirmation-page and email displays so guests see them before they book.
- Generate a new calendar feed URL if an old link was shared too widely.
