How to create an asset
Select Create Asset to open the right-side panel. Enter the asset name, choose the allocation model, fill in the quantity and capacity fields, and then assign the asset to the items that use it. When you save, the asset becomes available in the Assets table and is also synced into the item records that reference it.

- Use names staff recognize instantly, such as 'Escape Room A', 'Pontoon 2', or 'Kayak #4'.
- Assigned Items determines which bookable items are allowed to consume that asset.
- If an item already uses asset-based inventory, the panel previews how the grouping will appear on that item.
Tips
- Use quantity-based allocation for whole-resource usage and capacity-based allocation for seat or spot usage.
- Turn on individual unit tracking only when the team truly needs unit-level operational visibility.
- Use clear unit names that match your real-world labels so handoff at the venue is immediate.
