How to availability, overrides, and live operations
Availability is normally calculated from active bookings in the current booking window. If operations need a manual adjustment, staff can temporarily override availability by using the asset controls and later return to system-calculated values. This is useful for maintenance, damage, weather issues, or other real-life operational exceptions.

- Use Reset when you want to restore the visible availability number to the full configured amount.
- Use Sync when you want the system to stop using any manual override and recalculate from real bookings again.
- If a physical unit is unavailable for maintenance, mark it inactive or reduce usable availability so the booking site does not oversell.
Tips
- Use quantity-based allocation for whole-resource usage and capacity-based allocation for seat or spot usage.
- Turn on individual unit tracking only when the team truly needs unit-level operational visibility.
- Use clear unit names that match your real-world labels so handoff at the venue is immediate.
